This typographic poster was created for Typography I at Parsons School of Design, advocating for Platform21's Repair Manifesto—a
call to shift from throwaway culture to sustainable repair practices.
The project challenged me to translate the manifesto's message into
an impactful, engaging design while managing 11 principles of text
and maintaining "DON'T END IT, MEND IT!" as the focal point.

I designed a subtly slanted text layout to provoke visual movement
while suggesting something repairable—not broken, but skewed. The typography hierarchy features Cooper Hewitt Bold Italic for headline, Founders Grotesk Italic for subheadings, and Founders Grotesk
Regular for body copy.

Working within a two-week timeline, I produced multiple physical test prints to refine the translation from screen to print. Through several iterations, I adjusted fonts, hierarchy, and layout angles before arriving at the final tabloid-sized design.

This being my first print project, taught me that hierarchy is a beautiful typographic skill and that editing content strategically can strengthen visual impact. The experience reinforced my interest in poster design.
