Hot Slice is a proposed quarterly magazine that reimagines pizza culture through the lens of sophisticated visual storytelling. For adults aged 25 to 50 who treat dining as a cultural experience, the publication bridges high and low brow by applying art and fashion magazine sensibilities to the world's most accessible food.

The challenge was making pizza feel sophisticated and aspirational without losing its approachable essence. Renaissance-inspired covers incorporating pizza into classical artwork establish sophistication while remaining accessible. Typography choices—including a bold masthead and Caslon serif throughout—reinforce seriousness before the imagery and content reveal a more playful spirit.

Available in print and digital formats, Hot Slice fills a gap in the market for food media that celebrates culinary craft and cultural phenomenon equally. The museum feel shifts into a pizza party.
